Same Position 2000m to go, stalking Leader stern idol. outgunned over the treble but picked up and chasing well from 1000m. came Through Inside Leader near the 700m jump but ran out of room, either checked by stern idol or baulked at the wings? lost Ground anyway. had to rebalance and reboot, ryan asking him to do just that. past stern idol to 2nd place on home turn. loomed strongly over second last, got to within a neck but then clipped the last and parted ways with tommy. bummer # lost jock last jump
