Jumped okay, Restrained & Settled Down 2 Lengths Two Wide , held together much same to turn then Lost Ground in straight. [Stewards questioned rider re performance. Jockey stated it travelled comfortably early/middle stages, was left flat-footed when the leaders sprinted at 400m, was under immediate pressure and just ground its way to the line. He added it was not suited by the way the race was run and would be better suited over further ground and being able to work into a sprint. Post-race vet exam did not reveal any abnormality.] # no excuses
