Blundered on jumping & Settled Down 4th of 4 runners trailing 2 Lengths on fence, Drifted Back to 3.5 Lengths rail turning, Hooked Out after Straightening Up and Made Some Ground in straight. (Ear Muffs (Pre-Race Only) FIRST TIME, Nasal Strip FIRST TIME) [Stewards questioned rider re performance. Jockey stated he intended leading however it blundered on jumping and was quickly beaten for speed, it travelled keenly approaching first turn, dropped the bit when restrained to obtain cover and was under immediate pressure only grinding its way to the line. He added it never felt to get the opportunity to travel comfortably and work into a sprint. Post-race vet exam did not reveal any abnormality.] # never a real threat
